Charles G. Rocco, Founder of Challenger Aviation Products, Inc.

The Challenger Aviation Family sadly announces the passing of Charles Rocco, our founder.  Chuck spent nearly 50 years in aviation with the last 20 years in business with his family.

Chuck's career began in 1963 with training in the US Air Force in aircraft maintenance. After his discharge from the Air Force, Chuck began working in customer service for Goodyear Aerospace. Through the years Chuck worked for most major aviation companies, including Goodyear International, BF Goodrich, Midland Ross - Grimes Division, Porsche Aviation, TRW Hartzell Propeller, and McCauley Propeller Systems. His experience included product support, marketing and sales.

Chuck left the corporate world; owning and operating his own aircraft propeller and engine overhaul repair facility for a number of years. He started Challenger Aviation Products to introduce more efficient and high performance products for General Aviation under Parts Manufacturing Approval. Chuck developed quality products to help enhance the performance of most general aviation aircraft and with his foresight Challenger’s products are all environment friendly.

Chuck’s wife, Linda and daughters Susan and Heather will continue Chuck’s legacy and dreams for Challenger Aviation Products.  Please feel free to contact us via company email premfilter@aol.com.

A Memorial Service was held October 8, 2011 at Waco Museum in Troy, OH.
