Rocco, Founder of Challenger Aviation Products, Inc.
The Challenger Aviation Family sadly announces the passing of
Charles Rocco, our founder.
Chuck spent nearly 50 years in aviation with the last 20
years in business with his family.
Chuck's career began in 1963 with training in the US Air Force in
aircraft maintenance. After his discharge from the Air Force, Chuck
began working in customer service for Goodyear Aerospace. Through
the years Chuck worked for most major aviation companies, including
Goodyear International, BF Goodrich, Midland Ross - Grimes Division,
Porsche Aviation, TRW Hartzell Propeller, and McCauley Propeller
Systems. His experience included product support, marketing and
Chuck left the corporate world; owning and operating his own
aircraft propeller and engine overhaul repair facility for a number
of years. He started Challenger Aviation Products to introduce more
efficient and high performance products for General Aviation under
Parts Manufacturing Approval. Chuck developed quality products to
help enhance the performance of most general aviation aircraft and
with his foresight Challenger’s products are all environment
Chuck’s wife, Linda and daughters Susan and Heather will continue
Chuck’s legacy and dreams for Challenger Aviation Products.
